We recognised that traditional legal services simply weren’t enough — companies needed a scalable, technology-driven solution to navigate complex foreign regulations. ### Building a Global Privacy Representation Service As we achieved success in solving challenges in the EU, we then expanded our horizons, establishing representative services in the UK, Switzerland, Turkey, and Asia according to local data protection regulations. This evolution helps our clients to manage compliance across multiple obligations, making us a one-stop shop for all of their needs. ### SaaS solutions for Easier Compliance To augment our representative services, we began building SaaS solutions to help automate interactions between various stakeholders and reduce the manual effort in compliance programs. ### Expanding into AI and Digital Governance As regulations evolved, so did we. He holds privacy certificates from various institutions and is a designated DPO for banks, financial institutions, tech, and health care companies. Prighter is based on his in-depth legal knowledge and hands-on experience in the execution of privacy projects. ### Eduard Rameder Chief Technology Officer Eduard is a seasoned entrepreneur and served as a tech lead of multiple companies developing business process management tools and AI systems. ​He is a computer engineer by training and graduated form TU Vienna. ### Charlotte Mason Head of Legal, UK Charlotte is an experienced data protection and commercial lawyer. She has worked with clients across a variety of industry sectors and with companies of all sizes from start-ups to large national and multinational organisations. Her experience in both operational and in-house legal roles allows Charlotte to distil complex legal concepts into practical commercial solutions. Charlotte heads up the UK legal team at Prighter as well as supporting in the development of Prighter's SaaS compliance solutions. ### Vishal Gera Manager, Growth & Strategic Alliances Vishal is the Manager, Growth & Strategic Alliances at Prighter, driving direct & indirect sales activities while supporting Marketing initiatives and building strategic partnerships to support the growth at Prighter. He has 15+ years of experience in B2B and B2C sales across Telecom, Banking and SaaS industries. Vishal has served key markets across Europe and Asia, including India, Singapore and the UK. ### Katharina Jokic Privacy Professional Katharina is a privacy professional who is based in our Vienna Office. She graduated from the University of Vienna with a law degree as well as from Tilburg University with a post-graduate Masters-Degree (LLM) in Law & Technology. Her internship experience ranges from an international law firm to an international company in the technology sector, where she deep-dived into the world of privacy and data protection. Katharina is fluent in English, German and Croatian. ### Kumpei Shirai Manager, Growth & Strategic Alliances, Head of Asia Desk Kumpei is a Japanese native privacy professional, who is in charge of the Japan Desk at Prighter. Through various experiences that he has gained so far in Asia and Europe he has a deep understanding of intercultural differences in business with a great command of English, German and Japanese. He contributes to opening the way for your business development in the EU. ### Sabrina Heimeder Support Sabrina works in the support and back-office team to help you with all general questions as well as questions related to accounting. ### Andreas Rippl Design Engineer Andreas is a Design Engineer at Prighter. He studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Vienna and is studying Digital Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He is responsible for improving the look and feel of Prighter's services and Website. ### Hakan Alp Full Stack Developer Hakan is a Full Stack Developer at Prighter. He is responsible for improving the functionality and reliability of Prighter's services. He also studies Computer Science at the Izmir Institute of Technology. ### Branimir Bakula Frontend Developer Branimir is a frontend developer at Prighter, focused on building efficient and user-friendly applications. Delivering high-quality, maintainable code is his top priority. With international experience, he brings fresh perspectives to each project and plays a key role in driving innovation and development within the Prighter team. ### Márton Csukerda Developer Márton is a Full Stack Engineer experienced in both startup environments and large enterprises, where he has contributed to building scalable and user-focused applications. She graduated with a Turkish law degree before going on to complete an LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law in the UK. Elif has experience in governance and compliance roles both in the UK and Turkey. She uses her knowledge and experience to lead on the development of Prighter initiatives and products related to Turkish law as well as advising on EU and UK data protection and digital governance matters. ### Shun Nishimoto Legal Assistant & Business Development (Asia Focus) At Prighter, Shun supports cross-border privacy and digital regulation projects between Asia and Europe. He contributes to legal research and client advisory work for organisations in Japan and Korea, translating complex requirements under the GDPR, the EU AI Act, the Data Act, and related digital legislation into practical, business-oriented guidance. He also supports cross-border communication and coordination with European legal teams and partner law firms in Korea on matters involving data governance, AI regulation, and digital-services obligations. Shun has delivered multiple webinars for partners in Japan—including sessions for Japanese legal professionals—working with lawyers to research, draft, and structure content on the EU AI Act, the Data Act, and upcoming reforms. He also leads the creation of Prighter’s Knowledge Hub, a legal database consolidating global digital governance frameworks and clear compliance explainers for business users. ### Robert Marketing Robert is a B2B marketing leader with more than a decade's experience.
