EU Data Act
The EU Data Act sets common rules to make Europe’s data economy fairer, more competitive, and more innovative. It unlocks data from connected products and related services, enabling users (consumers and businesses) to access and share the data they help generate under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory conditions. It also eases switching between cloud/edge providers and promotes interoperability, while respecting obligations under the GDPR, trade secrets, and IP.
