Shun Nishimoto

At Prighter, Shun supports cross-border privacy and digital regulation projects between Asia and Europe. He contributes to legal research and client advisory work for organisations in Japan and Korea, translating complex requirements under the GDPR, the EU AI Act, the Data Act, and related digital legislation into practical, business-oriented guidance. He also supports cross-border communication and coordination with European legal teams and partner law firms in Korea on matters involving data governance, AI regulation, and digital-services obligations.

Shun has delivered multiple webinars for partners in Japan—including sessions for Japanese legal professionals—working with lawyers to research, draft, and structure content on the EU AI Act, the Data Act, and upcoming reforms. He also leads the creation of Prighter’s Knowledge Hub, a legal database consolidating global digital governance frameworks and clear compliance explainers for business users.
