The Sacramento Superior Court issued a tentative ruling delaying the enforcement of the CPRA regulations. The CPRA is amending the Californian CCPA and especially strengthens data subjects rights. The regulations were issued in March 2023 and should become enforceable on July 1st.

If you are not ready yet, you may still enjoy the weekend. CA Chamber of Commerce argues that the regulations require a 12 month grace-period from the moment they were issued. The hearing is today, so watch out if you need to comply by tomorrow or if some more time until March 2024 to get ready for CPRA/CCPA.
